Make the Roads Safe for Everyone

When you are driving, it is easy to forget that you must share the road with others. At the end of the day, we all depend on roads to get us safely from one place to another. However, there are times when we must put the interests of others above ourselves when driving, and that is why move over laws were created. When a law enforcement vehicle, ambulance, tow truck, or another type of emergency vehicle is pulled over on the side of the road to help someone, it is the obligation of every other driver to slow down and move out of their way.

Keep in mind that every state in America has some type of move over law. They are designed to reduce the number of traffic-related incidences that involve emergency vehicles. You can do your part by moving over when you see someone pulled over on the side of the road. This will give emergency personnel the room that they need to work.
